Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center
The City of Broken Arrow selected Beck Design to create a performing arts center that serves as both a cultural destination and a community gathering place. The project began with a comprehensive planning process that included a space needs assessment, theater planning, and detailed sightline studies to ensure an exceptional experience for performers and audiences alike.
The 44,000-square-foot Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center features the 1,500-seat Kristin Chenoweth Theatre, a state-of-the-art venue designed to serve both the arts and the broader community. The facility includes music education and administrative spaces, a safe room, a technology data center, rehearsal spaces, dressing rooms, a scene shop, and other essential support areas.
Since opening in 2009, the center has hosted world-class performances while providing Broken Arrow Public Schools students with opportunities to pursue careers in the performing arts. Its professional atmosphere and comprehensive amenities have established it as a premier destination for entertainment and arts education.
As the cornerstone of downtown Broken Arrow’s arts district, the center serves as a highly visible home for theatre, music, film, and visual arts, strengthening cultural engagement and community connection throughout the region.
