McPherson College Wise Campus Commons
McPherson College’s new Campus Corner, recently dedicated as the Wise Campus Commons, stands as a bold new “front door” to the college, symbolizing growth, connection, and a shared vision for the future.
Positioned prominently along Kansas Avenue, the 55,000-square-foot facility extends the campus toward the heart of McPherson, creating a more visible and welcoming presence in the community.

The design introduces a new diagonal campus axis centered on a light-filled atrium that serves as the social heart of the building. Natural light, glass elevators, and open stair towers connect all three floors, while glass, metal panel, wood, and stone create a modern aesthetic that reflects the region's heritage.
The facility includes dining for approximately 400 students, a coffee shop, campus store, collaborative lounges, career services, enrollment, and administrative offices, all organized to encourage connection and accessibility.
A signature feature is the suspended display of restored classic cars from McPherson College's nationally recognized Automotive Restoration program, celebrating the college's distinctive curriculum.
