Oklahoma City University Master Plan
Beck Design partnered with Oklahoma City University to develop a comprehensive campus master plan and performing arts needs analysis that establishes a strategic vision for the University's future growth.
Building on its longstanding partnership with Oklahoma City University, Beck Design developed a phased master plan to enhance the Schools of Music and Theatre while supporting the university’s academic, cultural, and performance goals.
The study evaluated future facility needs, enrollment growth, technology advancements, and the replacement of aging performance venues. The plan includes a new 1,100-seat theater, two recital halls, a 400-seat proscenium theater, an expanded black box theater, and additional academic, rehearsal, and performance spaces.
A pre-development phase addresses immediate operational needs while establishing a roadmap for future investment. Through thoughtful planning and performing arts expertise, Beck Design delivered a flexible vision that strengthens campus identity and creates world-class learning and performance environments for future generations.
