Oklahoma City Zoo Amphitheater Concept
Beck Design reimagined the Oklahoma City Zoo Amphitheatre with a contemporary vision that enhances the guest experience while honoring the venue's historic character.
The proposed amphitheatre revitalization envisions a park-like arrival with a shaded entry plaza, refreshed landscaping, and a new pavilion for ticketing, retail, and food service. A signature LED marquee and elevated VIP balcony would enhance the guest experience, while an optional stage canopy could improve comfort without obstructing lawn views. Expanded technical spaces, green rooms, loading docks, and storage would support modern touring productions. The concept also includes more than 4,000 reserved seats, upgraded concessions, climate-controlled restrooms, enhanced entry gates, and a renovated terraced lawn that preserves the venue's original stonework.
