Oklahoma City Zoo Education Center
Beck Design partnered with the Oklahoma City Zoo to renovate the Education Center, a dynamic learning environment that supports discovery, engagement, and conservation-focused education.
Designed as an immersive learning environment, the Oklahoma City Zoo Education Center supports hands-on activities, classroom instruction, community outreach, and interactive exhibits. Beck Design emphasized accessibility, flexibility, and experiential learning, creating spaces that engage visitors of all ages.
Natural materials, durable finishes, abundant daylight, and adaptable layouts reflect the Zoo’s conservation mission while promoting exploration and intuitive wayfinding. Custom graphics and educational elements transform the building itself into a teaching tool.
The Education Center serves as a welcoming hub for learning and engagement, inspiring curiosity, conservation awareness, and community connection through thoughtfully designed spaces.
