University Research Park 3rd Floor Lab Renovation
The University Research Park Third Floor Lab Renovation at the University of Oklahoma's OU Health Campus in Oklahoma City transformed a previously vacant 29,100‑square‑foot office suite into a cutting-edge research environment.
Commissioned by the University and completed in early 2025, the modernized floor features four open-concept laboratories with 86 dedicated workstations arranged along the perimeter to maximize daylight, complemented by cold rooms, instrument spaces, and fume hoods.
By consolidating infrastructure, daylight access, and collaborative settings, the renovation advances OU’s mission of elevating biomedical discovery and reinforces its ambition to become a top-tier academic health center in the region. Conference zones and breakout spaces are woven into the design to support interdisciplinary collaboration and team-based science.
Design refinements, including overhead utility panels, seamless flooring, flexible bench layouts, and ample storage, ensure adaptability as research needs evolve.
