Embark Leadership
Beck Design partnered with EMBARK to transform its Administration Office into a welcoming, high-performing workplace that reflects the organization’s legacy while supporting its future. Founded in 1966 as the Central Oklahoma Transportation and Parking Authority, EMBARK’s history inspired a mid-century modern design language featuring warm wood tones, clean lines, bold color, and playful geometry.

The renovation balances brand identity with functionality through a hospitality-inspired lounge, flexible café seating, refreshed reception area, and integrated wayfinding elements that create a memorable first impression. Thoughtful planning improves circulation and provides spaces for collaboration, focused work, and informal connection.
The design also addresses longstanding building challenges, including inadequate lighting, poor acoustics, and inefficient space utilization. Enhanced illumination, acoustically supportive materials, and a reconfigured layout create a healthier, more comfortable environment that maximizes usable space and improves the day-to-day experience for staff.
The result is a timeless workplace that honors EMBARK’s roots while fostering collaboration, productivity, and pride in the organization’s mission.
