Beck Design partnered with The Mayo Hotel to reimagine and renovate 1925, the restaurant and bar nestled within Tulsa’s most iconic historic landmark.
Originally opened in 1925, The Mayo has long been a symbol of elegance and grandeur in downtown Tulsa. Beck Design’s scope centered on restoring the restaurant’s architectural character while updating the space to reflect contemporary expectations for elevated hospitality experiences.

The design team carefully preserved original features such as plaster moldings, tall arched windows, and classic marble finishes, while introducing warm, modern touches through ambient lighting, rich wood tones, and custom detailing. The goal was to create a destination that honors the building’s storied past while serving as a refined yet welcoming space for guests and locals alike.
“We are proud to partner with The Mayo Hotel to unveil the stunning remodel of 1925, the bar inside Tulsa's historic Mayo Hotel, where timeless elegance meets modern hospitality design”.
