The new Bixby Performing Arts Center will be located at the corner of Dawes Avenue and Montgomery Street, creating a destination to anchor the east end of the downtown area.
The process began with an intensive planning effort
with community leaders that uncovered a unique need for a state-of-the-art venue for the City of Bixby, requiring an equally distinctive programming and design solution from Beck Design.
As Bixby continues to grow, this local venue will provide the opportunity for gathering spaces for events, for patrons to see quality traveling performers in their own backyard, and provide the necessary venue for performances by Bixby Public Schools.
As Bixby continues to evolve, this performing arts venue will become a cultural cornerstone for the community, offering flexible spaces for public events, attracting nationally and regionally touring performers, and providing Bixby Public Schools with a state-of-the-art venue for student performances. Designed to enrich community life, the facility will strengthen connections through arts, education, and shared experiences.
The Bixby Performing Arts Center will be designed by Beck Design and its team of specialized consultants. The building design incorporates cutting-edge audio
and visual technologies on display architecturally, while
respecting the existing surroundings.
