City of Bixby Master Plan

Beck Design was selected by the City of Bixby for a Design Competition to study the riverfront, city dynamics, existing structures, traffic patterns, and parks. The final document outlined the types of buildings that were needed and sizes that were determined from the meetings, information gathering and analysis.

This information was a summarization of additional parking requirements, space requirements, building renovations, new building sites, future vehicular and pedestrian pathways. A signature feature of the master plan was a dramatic ribbon-like structure that served as both an architectural landmark and a functional community destination.
