From the earliest planning conversations, our team worked closely with the City of Bixby and the Public Works Department’s leadership to evaluate existing workflows, space needs, equipment demands, and long-range operational goals, then translate those findings into a clear, buildable architectural solution. The outcome is a facility that pairs the rugged, durable performance required of a municipal operations campus with thoughtful, contextual design that reflects the adjacent neighborhood and aligns with Bixby’s newly established design guidelines.

The new campus is organized as a five-building complex, arranged to maximize flexibility, work efficiency, and day-to-day functionality while balancing cost and planning intentionally for future growth and expansion.

Each building and site element was positioned to support operational clarity, safe circulation, and adaptable use over time, ensuring the City can expand services without sacrificing efficiency. In shaping the plan, Beck Design prioritized long-term durability, practical maintenance, and a cohesive architectural identity that elevates a highly functional facility into a civic asset.

City leaders applaud the project’s role in improving services and providing room for growth in its new centralized location. The expanded area will deliver improved services to the residents of Bixby, particularly in response to limitations of the previous facility following a 2019 flood.
