City of Owasso Public Works Complex
Beck Design was selected to design the City of Owasso Public Works Complex, a 60-acre campus envisioned to support the community’s continued growth for the next 20 years.
The design team worked closely with the Public Works Department to understand operational needs and create an efficient, cohesive facility.
The complex includes an Administration Building, Field Operations Building, Vehicle Maintenance Building with car wash, enclosed and covered storage facilities, a covered materials building, and secured parking. The site design thoughtfully works around an existing wetlands area, integrating the natural landscape into the campus.
The Administration Building establishes a visual connection to the Owasso community through a contemporary composition of metal panels and glass. It includes 21 staff offices, support spaces, a gym, and a large conference room designed for both staff use and public hearings.
Field Operations and Vehicle Maintenance facilities provide specialized spaces for departmental operations, staff support, vehicle servicing, and storage. Together, the buildings create a flexible, durable campus designed to enhance daily operations and provide the infrastructure necessary for Owasso’s future.
