College of Muscogee Nation Multipurpose Building

College of Muscogee Nation Multipurpose Building

Encompassing 25,000 square feet, the building integrates classrooms, science labs, a library and learning center, faculty offices, a fitness space, the Core Values Café, and the Raven’s Nest Bookstore, all under one roof to foster collaboration, learning, and student support.

Its orientation and architectural elements draw directly from Muscogee cultural traditions: the building faces east to welcome each new day, while an exterior arbor structure honors the sunset, reflecting a cyclical reverence central to tribal life. Interior design elements such as murals of the 1832 Creek Treaty, historic maps, and representations of tribal towns, deepen the connection between place and history, transforming the building into an educational tool in itself.

“This building is the foundation of our identity as a College in its role as both a modern academic facility and a tribute to Muscogee heritage.”

-Former CMN President Robert Bible

By centering tradition alongside academic functionality, the Multipurpose Building establishes a sense of place and permanence for the College and its mission, embodying a future-focused commitment to student success rooted in cultural awareness.
