McPherson College Master Plan
Beck Design partnered with McPherson College to develop a comprehensive campus master plan that provides a strategic vision for future growth.
Focused on enhancing the student experience, strengthening campus identity, and supporting the College's long-term academic and athletic goals, the plan creates a flexible framework for phased development.
The master plan integrates new academic, residential, recreational, and athletic facilities while preserving the character of the existing campus through adaptive reuse. Planned improvements include a new sports complex, Templeton Hall addition, student wellness center, automotive restoration and engineering facility, coffee shop, and renovation of the Boiler House restaurant. The plan also features townhouse-inspired student housing, faculty housing, expanded green spaces with plazas, walking trails, outdoor gathering areas, and a dog park.
By improving campus circulation, enriching outdoor environments, and balancing innovation with heritage, the master plan establishes a connected, vibrant campus that supports McPherson College's evolving needs and fosters a strong sense of community for students, faculty, and visitors.
