Oklahoma City Zoo Administration Building
The Oklahoma City Zoo Administration Building, completed in 2023, is the new 14,500 square foot centerpiece of the Zoo’s Campus.
Situated at the park’s northwest entrance, the facility houses executive offices, flexible conference areas, and collaborative workspaces designed to foster interaction across administrative teams and support staff.
Framed in glass, wood, and stone, the building establishes a welcoming new “front door” for visitors and employees alike while emphasizing transparency and accessibility. The project is LEED-certified, the first under direct contract with the City of Oklahoma City, underscoring the Zoo’s commitment to sustainability and responsible design.
Speaking to the broader vision behind the renovation, Zoo leadership emphasized that this project complements larger efforts underway across the Zoo, including the conversion of the former administration space into an early childhood education center, aligning functionality with future growth ambitions.
Integrating daylight, modern finishes, and interactive zones into the administrative hub, the new building advances the Zoo’s mission by elevating both internal operations and guest engagement at a landmark of Oklahoma City’s cultural landscape.
