OMRF 3rd Floor Lab Renovation
Beck Design provided comprehensive services for Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation’s 29,100-square-foot 3rd floor laboratory renovation, including architectural and interior design, laboratory planning, lab equipment specifications, acoustical consulting, furniture planning, building code and life safety compliance, QA/QC, signage and wayfinding, fundraising support, and construction administration in collaboration with the consultant team.

Designed as a flagship research facility to support nationwide recruitment and long-term talent retention, the renovation features flexible laboratory suites that can adapt to future growth and evolving research needs. Shared equipment spaces and centralized support rooms—including microscopy, tissue culture, pre-PCR, RNA, behavioral research, and cold storage areas with a dedicated freezer farm—maximize efficiency while encouraging collaboration among multiple principal investigators.
