Rose State College Health Science Center Renovation & Addition
In response to Rose State College’s unwavering commitment to health science education and its growing student demand, this project delivered significant technological and operational enhancements to the existing nursing training infrastructure.

Spearheaded with $9.4 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding, the program included an expansion of the Health Sciences Building to increase enrollment capacity by approximately 50% while modernizing clinical simulation labs with advanced equipment. This scope supported the renovation of existing simulation spaces and the addition of new square footage to house classrooms and a lecture hall, ensuring students receive rigorous, contemporary training in an environment optimized for hands-on healthcare education.
Beyond the physical upgrades, the expanded facility is poised to profoundly impact workforce readiness and community health outcomes. The addition of state-of-the-art simulation labs, collaborative learning environments, and dynamic teaching spaces positions Rose State to deliver future-ready graduates who are well-prepared for increasingly complex healthcare roles.
The renovated and expanded Health Sciences Center will not only accommodate growing enrollment but also strengthen the college’s ability to produce highly competent, confident, and compassionate healthcare professionals while addressing Oklahoma’s rising demand for skilled providers and reinforcing the college’s vital role in regional workforce development.
