Santa Fe South Charter School
Beck Design served as the architectural and interior design lead for the renovation and adaptive reuse of the former Crossroads Mall into the new campus for Santa Fe South Charter Schools in Oklahoma City.
Completed in 2020, the project repurposed a large-scale retail space into a fully functional educational environment serving middle and high school students.
Beck Design led master planning, programming, and full design implementation, transforming the vacant mall into a vibrant, community-centered academic facility.
The design approach emphasized flexibility, durability, and student engagement, incorporating classrooms, science labs, administrative areas, gathering spaces, and athletic facilities into the existing structural framework. Natural light was introduced through strategic interventions, and bold wayfinding elements helped redefine circulation within the expansive footprint.
The creative reuse of the existing infrastructure reflects our expertise in cost-effective educational design and their commitment to serving mission-driven institutions through thoughtful, impactful architecture.
